In general, all trips abroad require a new Greek passport, which has been issued since 2006. The countries of the schengen zone also accept the new IDs. Our office recommends that you have your passport valid during the trip at least until the scheduled date of your return. Some countries require that travelers’ passports expire at least 3-12 months after their arrival time. The travel agency provides all the necessary information regarding the travel and other documents required for each trip and destination and their issuance and / or visa, but -even if it provides some assistance in the relevant process- is not responsible for any non-issuance or non-approval of these by the competent authorities, to which the traveler must address.
Our office has an Insurance Professional Liability insurance policy for each trip that it organizes, which covers the cases of any liability towards its customers, resulting from the non-execution or the improper execution of the organized trip. Also, the insurance policy covers the case of insolvency or bankruptcy, the obligation to return the paid, as well as the repatriation of travelers.
The luggage is transported under the responsibility of its owners, regardless of whether or not there is an escort of representatives of the tourist office. In the event of damage or loss, the corresponding international conditions apply to each means of transport and to the hotels, and liability in this case is limited in accordance with these conditions.
In air travel, the weight of luggage must not exceed 20 kg, in economy class. In case of additional costs, due to heavier luggage than allowed, these are borne by the traveler and paid on the spot. It is also noted that the airlines allow in the passenger cabin only one small hand luggage (approximately 50x40x25).
Cancellations of participation by the traveler are made only in writing to our office and, regardless of the date of booking (and as long as it is not possible to assign his booking to another person with the conditions set out in Article 6 of the General Conditions of Participation) , are subject to the following cancellation fees per person, depending on the time at which the cancellation is made:
-
15 days before departure 20 € for travel in Greece and 40 € for travel abroad, per person, for administrative expenses. * 15 to 10 days before departure: 40% of the total value of the trip.
-
10 to 05 days before departure: 60% of the total value of the trip.
-
5 days before departure until departure (non show): 100% of the total value of the trip
-
Cruises have different cancellation terms according to the terms * of the contracts of each company that apply to each cruise trip
- For individual / individual travel different cancellation terms apply according to the terms of each airline fare as well as the cancellation policy of each hotel.
Charges are made regardless of the time of registration or whether the respective amounts have already been paid by travelers or not. In case one of the two people who are going to stay or stay in a double room cancels his participation, and as long as the cancellation fees are not equal to 100% of the total value of the trip, except for the cancellation fees, the traveler will pay and the difference of his room, as he will necessarily stay in a single room.
